I dont know which city is sadder today, Chicago or Baltimore. Baltimore the city the Colts left in the middle of the night on Mayflower trucks, the city that the Colts went into and won a game over the Ravens to make it to the AFC title game and eventually the Superbowl. Just wondering if maybe the people there are more upset, than they are in chicago.
Baltimore residents, bitter disappointment?
Yes, if you read any news reports that come out of Baltimore you will see that they still have not let it go that the Colts are now the Indianapolis Colts. It's way past time to move on. No one in Indianapolis ever refers to the Baltimore Colts. It's as if we started from scratch when they pulled into our city. I've never heard anyone refer back to the day's of Johnny Unitas. The Baltimorons need to move on. Let it go folks.
Reply:yea whatever...
we r sooo over the colts - NO one here talks about it .....
and the ravens won a superbowl anyway so we dont care about the colts .
and btw ..not all people from baltimore are idiots -whoever said that is an a**hole. Report It
Reply:Who cares, people from Baltimore are idiots.
Reply:Its funny how Indy fans still have a chip on their shoulder, even after they've won a Superbowl.
Yes Baltimore was pissed off that our team was STOLEN from us. But now we have the Ravens, and our own Superbowl, and we're happy.
At the Superbowl party I was at last night most of the people there were rooting for Indy. Keep in mind that the Bears were our rivals way back when, before Indy even dreamed of having our team. This was definitely noted in our media.
So sorry Indy, we're not burning full of hate over here in Baltimore. We're pleased as punch with Steve McNair, happy that Payton finally got the ring he deserved, looking forward to next season, and hoping that the O's don't end up in 4th place!
Reply:I bet neither one of them is too sad. It is over. Next year starts again. Believe it or not. People do things besides watch football.
Reply:The residents of Baltimore should march into Indy with pitchforks and burn everyone in the city at the stake.
My question is..... does the city of Baltimore claim the NFL championship over the NY Giants in 1953(?) or does the Colts organization claim that victory?
I beleive that Baltimore Ravens beat the NY Football Giants back in 2000 (?).
Reply:Did we forget that the Browns owner moved the team to Baltimore for the exact same reasons the Colts moved to Indy?
Better facilities, money, etc.
Seems like the city of Baltimore and people are a bunch of hypocrites.

Reply:You know my stepdad does not like either one of the teams that was in the Superbowl and the reason is cause of the Colts moving in dead night from Baltimore to Indiana, but he rooted for the Colts cause the Bears are our rivals here in wisconsin so we don't like the Bears here. They probably are upset, but I think a few years back didn't the Ravens make it to the Superbowl, so don't know what Baltimore has to be upset about they have been there too, not like ever since the Colts moved a bad team had came in.
Reply:Ummm....the Ravens have won a Super Bowl. I think Baltimore is over the Colts.
Reply:Baltimore has the Ravens %26amp; they were excited when that team won the Super Bowl a few years back. I don't think they care much about the Colts when they moved to Indianapolis in 1984. It was a long time coming for the Colts to win another Super Bowl, but this time the Lombardi Trophy comes home to Indianapolis.
