Help please! With parts of ships in the 1700's?

So, during the 1600's-1700's, like the ship Mayflower, I want to know that,

where, on the ship, just the deck without any rooms, does the prigrims put their religious sign on the ship?

easier for you to understand

where do Prigrims, or sailors, put their religious sign on the ship?

Help please! With parts of ships in the 1700's?
Most of the pilgrims would have been housed in the main deck area. These ships were designed for carrying cargo and not passengers, so it would have been an uncomfortable transit and, in fact, many of the pilgrims perished from the conditions. If they were to place there religious icons anywhere and conduct services, it would have been here. I have attached a schematic drawing of the Mayflower II which was designed and built using all available records. She is as exact of a replica as you will find. Hope this helped.
