-_- Short skirt...?

I have recently bought a skirt at the MayFlower Mall for about $20.00 it's really cute its about the length in the picture below and it is white and made of a light cloth. I am planing on wearing black with light gray striped leggings under this. Is that ok? And what type of foot wear should I wear? Oh by the way I am 14 and I think this skirt might be a little too short.. Give your opinion thanks!

i doubt that black and gray leggings will look good with it. if it's too short to wear alone, then just return it.
Reply:well first of all.... there is no picture, so whatever. Anyways yeah, i wouldnt wear leggings under it, and if they are really that short, either return them or just wear them durring the summer at the beach over a bathing suit so it doesnt really matter, thats what i would do.... but no leggings
Reply:I think the white skirt with black and grey striped leggings is a bit clashy, although leggings are a must for an "iffy" skirt.



What would look cute is a pastel colored top, or anything thats not too bright or bold - it won't look too good with that skirt. If you wear a soild top go for some cute accessories too!



Also, if you have them wear a pair of solid grey leggings - the stiped ones will draw attention off of your cute skirt :)



Top the look off with some cute flats or sandals and you're good to go!

Reply:Sounds like a really cute outfit! I'm 13 by the way. I suggest ballet flats or flip flops as footwear and maybe a t-shirt (black or grey) or a tank top. I couldn't get to the picture but as long as you can sit down on a metal chair and your butt doesn't get cold, it should be fine. Hope that helps you!
Reply:well if the skirt is too short the leggings are a must. But the black and Grey will look way too much with the skirt. The skirt sounds cute, i would wear a white legging with lace at the bottom, or a soft green or something.

um how about like instead of that colored leggings, how about the ones that r colored gray(ish)blue. for shoes u kan use like white flats. for a shirt maybe like a one of those cute tanks or boyfriend tees.

Reply:...what picture?? Well anyway, because you'll be having leggings on, thats better... it doesn't matter as much how short the skirt is. By the way, I'm also 14. I think you should either wear sandals, slip-ons, or Converses (any not-chunky shoe). But all this depends on what kind of event you're going to, or if you're just going out.

It doesn't matter what people think about you, it's about what you think about yourself. If you feel confident in this outfit, then strut down the hallways like no other. Own it!
