Fashion advise needed?

I am going to a dance this Friday , of course my major crush is going. Anyways about a month ago I went out and bought a new brown cord skirt for it.I am planning on buying a new outfit based on the skirt (with the skirt as part of the outfit) I am looking to spend around $50The only stores around here that I like to shop at are the Mayflower Mall and the stores in it.

I need some makeup tips and some hair tips also.

Um the tone of my skin is rather light and I have Hazel colored eyes. My hair is Auburn and is a little bit past my elbows with some wave in it , I don't exactly have bangs because I let them grow as long as my hair. I need something that would make me look good in front of my crush and would make a 14 year old look rather nice.

Here are some pics of the skirt ~

If it is a caual dance then maybe you should shop online at the stores near you. Then go and try them on wearing the skirt. I think a nice spaghetti strap blouse in beige would look nice....something frilly and girly. Maybe get a cord jacket to match the skirt if you want a cover up for the shirt. I wouldn't buy any shoes that are gonna hurt your feet, remember you'll be dancing not modeling. Plus wear your hair in an up-do so you don't get sweaty. Remember your looks will only get his attention for so long, you have to have some spark to keep him interested. Do your homework on the guy, that way you'll have something to say when your face to face. Good Luck!
Reply:tooooo many words, i've only seen the pics and read the first line, I think that both of them are really short, go with something more ellegant, it's a dance, isn't it... anyway your choice, but those skirts make you too.... available. good luck!
Reply:I would go for a cocktail dress if you don't want to be to elegant or a halter or strapless strapless cute dress.
Reply:Maybe a nice pair of heels, and stockings. For the top, a light dress shirt with a coloured t-shirt underneath. As for your hair, make it as curly as you like, wear it down, and pin a bit of you bangs back on either side. Or change your part, like part your hair at the side, or zig-zag. Make-up: natural. Little bit of light colored tan eye-shadow and mascara, tinted lip gloss and a tiny bit of blush.
Reply:I would go for the black tight leggings too or otherwise i would think about wearing something diferent. But don't worry you are gonna look pretty!!.
Reply:I would make long waves in your hair and stick to natural colors in your makeup. Pick the one thing you like best about your face and pick make up that makes that pop out. Use a pink gloss and some brown or green eye shadow. If you really need it some similiar to skin color concealor. For the outfit start off making sure you're comfortable and confident with it. If you can't pull it off, it won't make you look great. Keep in mind, the outfit doesn't make you look good unless you make the outfit look good. Pick a color that matches your skin tone and stick with it. Don't mix to many colors. It sounds hard, but it's really easy. Oh yeah, one last thing, shop around. Don't just go to one store. That way you're more likely to find the perfect stuff.
Reply:maybe u could go with some black tight leggings underneath the skirt and some black high heels (no open toes)
