What is the nicest hotel in Washington D.C.?

I was told it was the Mayflower. Is that the ritziest in

DC?

What is the nicest hotel in Washington D.C.?
There are a number of Ritzy hotels in DC.

The Ritziest may be the Blair House - but you can only stay there if you are the guest of the President.

The Mayflower is way up there, and certainly the ritziest that I've ever spent a night in.

The Willard Hotel - an historic hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue, which is where Martin Luther King finished writing his "I have a Dream" speech and where the Battle Hymn of the Republic was written is also one of the ritiziest, possibly ritzier than the Mayflower. It was recently reviewed in Air Canada's on flight magazine as one of the fanciest places in DC and has it's own spa.

The Four Seasons in Georgetown is the classic ritzy hotel in the ritziest neighborhood in DC - I am not sure that this hotel can be superceded by the others.

hope that helps.

Reply:The Mayflower is very ritzy. The "ritziest" is a matter of opinion.
