What is the job if the executive branch????????????????
The Legislative branch makes a law, the president signs it, the Judicial Branch Declares it unconstitutional. The Legislative branch makes a law, the president vetoes it, the legislative branch overrides the veto, the judicial branch declares it unconstitutional. This system of checks and balances was created so no one of our 3 branches of government had too much power over the people.

People criticize the electoral college because they do not know the system and believe that they elect the president on their personal choices, which they do not. Here's how it works: The people elect the president.

The electoral college goes to Washington DC

They vote for the president that got the most votes in the state they come from.

Many people choose not t vote because of the confusing system, which is easily misunderstood
