Going summer shopping tomorrow what to buy?

Well, I am going shopping at the Mayflower Mall.

I was wondering what kinds of clothing should I buy? Like what kinds of skirts , tops and what not ( that includes patters or colors).

I am 14 , 5'6, light skin and I weight 130lbs. and people consider me skinny. But not REALLY skinny.Umm if it matters I have hazel eyes and Aubrun hair.

Your eye/hair combination along with skin tone allow you to get away with a lot of stuff. Summer is great for bright colors, and blue will look really good on you, as will red. Yellow tends to make pale skinned people look less good.



Ideally you'd get a set of items that you can mix and match to create a number of funky outfits. Accessories make the outfit, suggest a number of them.

2 x belts: 1 white, 1 black, hopefully one of the two studded.

1 x hat: Get a really funk hat.

2 x sandals

1 x shoes: maybe pumas or some other comfortable sneakers. I saw some lacoste slip-ons on a female friend and I loved them, but they were probably really expensive.

1 x hairband, like the stiff kind to hold you hair back. I haven't seen girls wear these recently, so it's kind of a funky throwback.

4 x cute tops. Get white, black, and 2 colorful ones. Funky patterns make it better.

1 x summer dress. sexiest thing a girl can wear in the summer.

1 x ruffled skirt. Lots of these in the past few years, still sexy.

1 x jean skirt. Practical and still good looking.

1 x light jeans for the evening, preferably some % spandex.

1 x polo shirt. Get baby blue or white. These look great on girls.

1 x blouse.

1 x aviator sunglasses. If your face is better than your body, get smaller lenses to draw attention up. If you're body is better, get larger lenses so your face is more obscured.



Don't buy baby dolls or stuff that's puffy around the stomach, it makes all girls look fat and/or pregnant.



Stores to check out:

Armani Exchange has really cool stuff at reasonable prices, and it holds up pretty well. I like their belts for both men and women, as well as shirts. I like the recent trend towards stuff that resembles heraldry and gold and silver prints.

Levis has the best jeans in my opinion. They aren't terribly expensive, look good and last forever. They also have nice shirts.

Macys: I love this place.

Nordstroms (if you're in WA or the bay area ) also love it.

Banana Republic has great stuff. The gap is sh*tty though.

Anthropologie is also cool. Nice hippy skirts, very sexy.

Reply:Tank tops in every color. Mini skirt's that aren't TOO short, at least one that is pleated. Also get a white skirt, so you'll stay at least a bit colder/cooler! Maybe burmuda's if you like them. I got a pair of khaki, a pair of blue, but I couldn't kind any denim ones :-( My sis got a pair of brown plaid ones that I want to steeal from her. Okay, back to you. Get cami's too, depending what color shorts or skirts you get. Get some cute shoes too. Summer dresses if you can pull one of, and you'll know as soon as you try it on. Try more simple ones, a solid color or stripes. That's all I can think of. Hih!
Reply:At 5'6" and only 130 lbs, you are considered to have an ideal figure that other teen age girls wll envy because you will look attracive anything you choose. Therefore, you want to choose what is most attractive to you based on personal likes and dislikes. Because you will be attractive in any outfits you choose, you want to keep in mind that what you wear will affect other girls around you, and you want to choose your clothes appropriately for apropriate occassions in order to be a positive role model for other girls.

Reply:right now plad is in so you should buy a skirt with a plain matching top, a braclet, earings, and a neckless. and some realy pretty shoes

Reply:you should get some bermuda shorts.they're nice and comfortable and also come in a plaid pattern.
Reply:buy some mini jean skirts, i would suggest hollister/ american eagle. Also if you go to hollister.com or americaneagle.com when you click on a skirt, then it shows you what kinds of tops look best with that peice of clothing. Tank tops are hot right now, so but any jean skirt with any bright, simple/detailed desin and your good to go! Also, the brand rainbow flipflops are hott!!!! They cost a little more, but last forever, and are super comfortible. Also, you can never go wrong with some beachy purfume and a pair of giant black sunglasses.
