Can someone PLEASE help me compare and contrast the magna carta and the mayflower compact?For some reason im finding it very difficult.

Compare and contrast?
Magna Carta

1. Dictated to a Tyrant by Aristocrats

2. Designed to protect people from an irresponsible King

3. Described as the basis for Common Law in England

4. The first written "constitution" to which a monarchy agreed



Mayflower Compact

1. Agreement by people to govern themselves

2. Aimed to prove the people were responsible for themselves

3. Associated with the beginning of Independent Government in America

4. The first written laws put in place by the consent of those who were to be governed
