mardy, I often wonder about that myself. I'm Canadian and apparently know more than most Americans do about how their country was founded. Really disturbing isn't it?

Reply:It was founded on MANY principles, some biblical, others not. Since the original settlers were predominantly Christian, would you expect anything else? Good grief. Get over it already.

Reply:No, it wasn't. However among the many who founded the USA, some had Biblical principles, so some of those certainly influenced things. The Mayflower only brought people to one colony. Jamestown Virginia had already been founded on commercial principles. The constitution was set up to keep church and state separate. The signers of the declaration of independence included unbelievers.

Meaning we can worship whoever we want, and not receive govt problems, but we can also be free to do so, its not htat we cant have relgion in the state. but, they cant push on e religion over the other.

yes, we were founded on Chritian principles of do undo others. Now, we have it, we cant have Christianity, but kids can be taugh muslim religion in certain schools, or false gods. to have a child not be able to do a paper on God , but forced to write papers on false greek Gods, tells you where we are. We are no longer free. and losing more rights all the time. ppl wake up, cuz one daywe wil all be forced to worship false gods, or be killed. bible tells us and we can see the handwriting on the wall now. and all will eventually be forced to denounce God at all, and follow the antichrsit. you and I may not be the same religion, but we better stand up for our rights to ahve our choice to choose what we want. and if the states wont do that, they need remove all relgion. Dont teach creation or evolution. Dont teach God or false Gods, and leave it all to the parents, or allow Christianity to be taught also. we have teachers today telling our kids to chant, but cant pray, yes it happens, just cuz you dont know it doesnt mean its true, ok. many just dont KNOW yet, but they will. many teach that certain imorality is just normal, and that taking a babies life before birth is ok. no its not, it has human dna and its murder. certainly alive, as its got a heartbeat, etc. we better stand up for our right and stand up for God, or we cant gripe when we lose all our rights. wake up america.
