Inmigration had always been since the foundation of mankind, even animals inmigrate from one place to another to survive. When the mayflower first came here there was not INS or something like that, if it would had been one all your granpas and granmas would had been considered ilegals. Americans are so stuck up in themselves, you should go out there and see the world, there are places in africa for example that 75% of the population is unemployed and the 25% that is employed make 0.40 cents a day. Honestly I dont know why americans complain so much if even poor people in america live way better than a lotta people in the world. Inmigration laws in this country were made cause every one wanted to come here so they had to make rules for people to come here so the country wouldnt have a disorganized massive inmigration from every where. Every human being is the same before God and if God gave you the blessing of this wonderful country you have to be kind and share it with others.be human

But there is a saying, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions". Consider what happens currently: millions of Mexicans who come here are forever condemned to live on the margins of society because they are here illegally, and because they will not take the effort to learn English.



There are 11 million illegals here now. Do you realize that is the same as the population of Greece? Do you think we can just absorb that amount of people?



Think of it this way: by not using criteria such as education, skills, and the ability to speak English, we are like a football team giving away its first draft picks in the NFL. People from all over the world, many highly skilled people who can make huge contributions, are trying to immigrate here. And we're passing up on them.



By not stopping the huge tide of people fleeing Mexico, you are in effect relieving the pressure in a steam kettle. Mexico is poor for one main reason: because its government is corrupt. (people often pose the question, why is Canada rich while Mexico is poor? The answer is governmental corruption)



Without enough internal rage from the Mexican people, the Mexican government will never change. Mexico will always stay backwards, poor, and economically inefficient and socially unjust.



So, you see? It's not so easy.

Even 3rd world countries have laws that are punishable if broken. Is it Americas duty to pay for illegal people here to be on welfare? Is it our duty to make our teachers learn to teach English as a second language to illegals in our schools? Our ancestors mostly came here legally through proper channels. These channels are still available. Its not about legal immigration its about ILLEGAL immigration. I have been to Africa and other poor countries. Believe me, you DO NOT want to break their laws. No they were actually legal since the natives of the land had no policy or laws reguarding immigration/illegal immigration. Also there was always land disputes between the native tribes. They weren't all peaceful as people think.

Yeah that is because we americans fought long and hard trying to build a nation where we could live properly without living in tribes like in africa or very uneducated overpopulated nations. Our ancestors and us today are or have worked for this.

You just answered your own question right there. This is why immigration laws were mad and should be inforced. So illegals can't come from everywheres and turn USA into a third world country. Imagine if we took in all south americans, africans, etc.. we would turn into a poor country. This is why we have rules and laws.
