What kind of computer are you using right now, and why is it better (or worse) than everybody else's?

Right now, I'm using the computer that I bought for my mother in '99. I think it came over on the Mayflower. Meanwhile, my brand-new Dell laptop is sitting in the corner, collecting dust, because the hard drive is shot.

What kind of computer are you using right now, and why is it better (or worse) than everybody else's?
I get my husband's hand-me-down computers which are actually quite nice. He buys a new lap top every other year and they are usually loaded with memory and hard drives. good luck on yours. Hopefully under warranty?

Reply:e machine...it's my second, the price is right and it's a good product. Before I bought this one I had bought a Dell. Worst mistake of my life, they sent me 2 instead of 1. Then the one I kept, had to have the operating system redone. I sent it back to them and told them to stick it. I still ended up paying them over $300 for shipping and handling!!

Reply:I'm using a New HP pavilion desktop and its awsome really fast but fastness pays a price! Its better then dell because dell uses cheep parts to make there prices overall on there computers really cheep

I wouldn't say that my computer is the best, but it's certainly not the worse. Being that this is my first commercial computer (I usually build my own), I'm pretty satisfied with the machine and how it handles.
